The Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media adopted, at its session held on 7 May 2024, 15 bylaws, in accordance with Article 128 of the Law on Electronic Media (Official Gazette of the RS, no. 92/2023), that is, within six months from the entry into force of the Law.

Savet Republičke radiodifuzne agencije, odbio je na današnjoj sednici , prigovore Društva za radio i televizijske aktivnosti „Kopernikus cable network“ d.o.o. iz Niša i „Nove .rs Television“ d.o.o. iz Beograda izjavljene na rešenje Saveta od 9. avgusta 2013.godine kojim su odbijene njihove prijave na Javnom konkursu za izdavanje dozvole za emitovanje televizijskog programa na području cele Republike.
Povodom 55. godina rada Javnog radiodifuznog servisa Srbije, predsedniku Upravnog odbora dr Slobodanu Markoviću i generalnom direktoru Aleksandru Tijaniću, u ime Republičke radiodifuzne agencije, čestitke je uputio predsednik Saveta episkop jegarski dr Porfirije Perić.

U skladu sa odredbama Zakona o radiodifuziji, Zakona o javnom informisanju i Evropske konvencije o prekograničnoj televiziji potrebno je da emiteri koji imaju dozvolu za kablovsko emitovanje programa dostave Republičkoj radiodifuznoj agenciji popunjen obrazac sa osnovnim podacima o televiziji. Republička radiodifuzna agencija je iz medija saznala za presudu Privrednog suda u Beogradu donetoj u postupku po tužbi SOS kanala i takav ishod je za Agenciju potpuno neočekivan. RRA će, s obzirom da presudu do sada nije dobila, ukoliko navodi iz štampe budu tačni, nakon analize same presude svakako uložiti žalbu.
RRA od početka ovog postupka smatra da ne može biti odgovorna za tehničke karakteristike i eventualnu neispravnost bilo kog kanala ili frekvencije jer je to van njenih zakonskih ovlašćenja.
RRA ima zakonsku obavezu da svaku radiofrekvenciju koja se nalazi u Planu raspodele frekvencija dodeli putem javnog konkursa, a o tome koje se frekvencije nalaze u pomenutom dokumentu odlučuje Ministarstvo nadležno za oblast telekomunikacija uz učešće RATEL-a. Nakon izdavanja dozvola RRA ima nadležnosti u praćenju programa emitera, a nema ovlašćenja kao ni tehničke kapacitete da vrši kontrolu tehničkih parametara i eventualno učestvuje u otklanjanju štetnih smetnji ili koordiniše mađunarodni radiodifuzni spektar.
Savet Republičke radiodifuzne agencije na današnjoj sednici nije dodelio dozvolu za emitovanje televizijskog programa za područje Republike Srbije - mreža K5. Nijedna od dve televizije (TV Nova.rs i TV Kopernikus Svet plus 3) koje su imale potpunu i blagovremenu dokumentaciju, a učestvovale su na javnom konkursu nisu dobile potreban broj glasova članova Saveta.
Na osnovu Javnog konkursa za izdavanje dozvola za emitovanje televizijskog i radio programa za područje regiona i lokalna područja, Savet Republičke radiodifuzne agencije je na sednici utvrdio listu lica kojima je izdata dozvola za emitovanje programa.
Savet Republičke radiodifuzne agencije doneo je odluku da predloži dr Nebojšu Kuzmanovića, doktora književnih nauka za kandidata za člana Programskog odbora Radiodifuzne ustanove Srbije, kojeg bira Narodna skupština Republike Srbije.
